Great location, just behind a one track road and the beach the otherside. Very quiet and peaceful, the lake is beautiful. Facilities were clean and fairly up to date, hot water in showers and washing up. Plenty of toilets and showers for all. Lots of pitches in blocks so felt relatively private too. Dogs allowed on leads in the campsite and beach. Would come back

The campsite itself is lovely. Very clean. Over the road to the lake and up the hill to the village. However, the experience was spoilt for us due to the owner’s lack of care over a theft which took place at the campsite. Our Swiss …

Brilliant site, with great services and very helpful hosts. Positioned right on the lake, great kids play area, a little cafe that do pizza/burgers etc. What more could you want?! The lake itself is also beautiful - you must visit the gorge by boat!

Lovely camping. Beautiful spot near the lake and great point to start experiencing the Gorge. We were really lucky and had a spot looking over the water. Close to the village and dog friendly. Wouldve wanted to stay longer if not for the weather. We recommend!

Beautiful campsite and lovely owners. Please visit this location! The spots are wide and most of them offer enough shadow. The toilets/showers are amazingly clean and you’ll love the showers with open roof 😍. The location is perfect with a shop, restaurants, the lake and nature nearby. The owners and staff are sweet and helpful. We had some issues with our car and the owners offered some of their tools to use, thank you again!

Visited in May 2022. Great site with lovely collection a pitches to suit everyone. A short steep walk into town where there are numerous restaurants and a couple of food shops. The highlight is the fabulous lake (which you can swim in in May) and the gorges. Great site in an unmissable location.

The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. Outdoor shower is fabulous! Everywhere clean. Easy 150m walk to lake. BUT, do not stay at the weekend! We arrived Saturday evening and had to suffer rave music from somewhere on the beach until 3am! Told the owners who were not very interested. The following Friday, lots of people turned up and there was a lot of general noise - car doors slamming, people not respectful of others. Saturday night more young travellers arrived and were still having a party at midnight when the rain forced them to stop. Loud talking and then 5 minutes of loud music. It seems the owners are only interested in filling their spaces rather than keeping their campsite as a quiet place for people to relax in.
